Toolkit: Rural Health Literacy

Toolkit provides evidence-based and promising practice resources to improve health literacy in rural communities. People with adequate levels of health literacy are better able to understand their health concerns and diagnoses as well as treatment information.  The toolkit includes discussion of unique barriers and challenges to addressing health literacy in rural areas. Modules contain resources and information focused on developing, implementing, evaluating, and sustaining rural health literacy programs.
