Video: How to Be a Trusted Messenger for Vaccine Conversations – Clinicians
National Resource Center for Refugees, Immigrants, and Migrants (NRC-RIM)
Webinar uses the Trusted Messenger PBS documentary to guide discussions with clinicians about addressing vaccine concerns with patients. A portion of the video is provided, then there is the opportunity to provide suggestions on how to respond to people in the video. This webinar is part of a campaign intended to train the workforce on how to become a trusted messenger. While the webinar focus is COVID-19, the same principles can be used for conversations around other vaccines as well. The video series contains 9 videos covering different themes and discussion of specific communities. The videos range from approximately 5 to 13 minutes long and are available here: Trusted Messengers: Clinicians | NRC-RIM. Facilitation and discussion guides are available for download.
