Toolkit: Engaging Communities in Outbreak Response Activities
Toolkit: Engaging Communities in Outbreak Response Activities
National Resource Center for Refugees, Immigrants, and Migrants (NRC-RIM)
Toolkit offers lessons learned from the Washington Department of Health's ongoing efforts to engage with Russian and Ukrainian-speaking communities about COVID-19 and respond to the larger Ukrainian refugee crisis. The three key engagement strategies outlined include hiring people from the community, helping the community establish a health board, and engaging with key community partners. The toolkit is available at Actively and Authentically Engaging Communities in Outbreak Response Activities | NRC-RIM.
