Report: Vaccine Hesitancy in Black and Latinx Communities

Report on vaccine hesitancy within the Black and Latinx communities discusses the root causes of vaccine concerns in these communities, including historical experiences of systemic racism in medical research and mistrust of the medical system. The report also analyzes common themes within vaccine opposition in these communities, including (1) negative health impacts, (2) the pharmaceutical industry, (3) vaccine ingredients, (4) policies and politics, and (5) research and clinical trials. The report includes survey data on vaccine hesitancy in Black and Latinx communities from November 2020 which reflect attitudes at that point in time.
