Factsheet called "Monkeypox and Safer Sex" describes steps couples can take to achieve safe sex when someone thinks they may have mpox (formerly known as monkeypox). The factsheet also discusses recommendations for preventing the spread of mpox, such as getting vaccinated and talking to partners about recent illnesses and being aware of new rashes on each other's bodies, including in the genital and anus regions. Information about what a person should do if they have new or unexplained rash or other symptoms is also discussed in the factsheet.
