Not Gambling with Anyone’s Health

Supporting Tribal Nations in the Pacific Northwest is  a main priority for CHOICE Regional Health Network. They’ve established culturally respectful partnerships and collaborations with local Tribes, including a six-month partnership with the Skokomish Tribe. Through this collaboration, CHOICE helped to organize two monthly vaccination events at the Skokomish Tribal Community Center. They devoted the first two hours of these vaccination events to tribal elders and tribal members. And when the Little Creek Casino, located on Squaxin Island Tribal Land, was interested in having their staff vaccinated, CHOICE took the opportunity to build trust and reach out to more local Native Americans by providing those vaccines and other resources
